Rob Pattinson Buys New Guitar For Homeless Man!

The FABLife’s super crush on Robert Pattinson got a little stronger today with this news of his sweet deed on the streets of LA. As R-Patz strolled down the sidewalk, he noticed a homeless street musician playing a busted up acoustic guitar. After putting some cash into the man’s collection cup, Rob, a well known music lover, ventured into a nearby music shop. A few minutes later he emerged carrying an electric guitar for himself, and a brand new six string which he handed to the street musician.

The random act of kindness was witnessed by two British tourists. “Robert quickly went back to his car and drove off,” one told Britain’s Sun newspaper. “We were gobsmacked when he handed the acoustic guitar to the tramp.” So was the musician, who couldn’t quite believe that this all was for real. “”The busker was totally shell-shocked. He had no idea who Robert was. I think he thought the guitar was stolen.” If this story of The Vamp and the Tramp doesn’t warm your heart, then check your pulse because you might be legally dead. Yes, like a vampire.

Kudos, Rob. Kudos.

P.s. I'm sure there's some word play on Rob dressing like a "hobo" for this post but I can't think of one that isn't offensive - anyone else?

Kellan Lutz (@KellanLutz) Donates Three Signed Pairs to Shoe Revolt

According to Expert Click:

Actor Kellan Lutz has donated three pair of shoes to Shoe Revolt, which will be auctioned off on the online boutique’s website. All proceeds raised from the shoes will fund anti-commercial sex trafficking initiatives in the United States.

Shoe Revolt is based in Beaverton, Oregon. We are working to eradicate human trafficking through purchasing power. Shoe Revolt takes new or gently used shoe donations and they are sold on our website. One hundred percent of profits go toward creating strategies to build new and support existing programs that house, heal, educate, and decriminalize survivors.

Shoe Revolt is incredibly grateful for Lutz’s donation. The funds generated from the sale will provide much-needed support for programs in the United States that assist survivors of the commercial sex trade. Most victims are women and children, and once rescued, they have nowhere to turn to gain the necessary resources for survival. Donations such as Lutz’s allow Shoe Revolt to continue supporting programs for survivors to ensure that they remain safe.

Kellan Lutz is best known for his role in the Twilight films as the character Emmett Cullen, but his career started much earlier. He has also starred in “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, “Immortals”, and “Accepted”. Kellan played characters on hit TV shows as well, including “Beverly Hills 90210″ and “Heroes”. Lutz is undeniably a social-minded celebrity; he has previously supported many charities, including the St. Bernard Project and Men for Women Now – the Noreen Fraser Foundation.

Looks like Kristen's trend is catching on... I wonder if any of Rob's shoes will be up for auction next ;)

Kristen Stewart Donates Signed Keds for Charity Auction

A celebrity such as Kristen Stewart donating shoes helps us connect with all teenagers despite language, ethnic, and cultural differences. Shoe Revolt is incredibly thankful for Kristen Stewart’s donation of a pair of black Keds.

Look out to bid on Kristen's Keds at Shoe Revolt:
ShoeRevolt.com is like no other online shoe boutique you have visited before; we are a family, a league of shoe styling girlfriends fighting together for one goal. The goal is simple, to kick sex trafficking to the curb with every shoe purchase.

Twilight Cast Evacuated Due To Tsunami Warning

Breaking Dawn film production seems to have been put on pause to evacuate the Twilight cast due to tsunami warnings following the earthquake in Japan.

Shooting out in Tofino on Vancouver Island this week for La Push beach scenes, @TinselKorey tweet "They're evacuating us 4 a tsunami warning. If this … is my last my tweet. I love you. The end. Hugz," later followed by "If this is the moment. Then I've lived a good life. And I'm thankful 4 everything I've been given."

Vancouver is currently under "tsunami watch" not "warning" meaning we'll likely be experiencing high swells, with the west side of Vancouver Island most immediately hit.

More powerful swells hit the California coast early this morning, destroying boats and docks.

Please go to The Red Cross for ways to help those affected by the 8.9 quake in Japan - one of the strongest to ever be recorded.

Thanks Jenny

Kristen Stewart Birthday Project for Covenant House :)

The ladies over at Twilightish emailed in recently about a project they were creating for Kristen's birthday.

In her recent Vogue interview, Kristen said how she wants to find a way to help "teenage runaways get back on their feet" like her character Mallory in Welcome To The Rileys.

So, a bunch of sites, including TCA will be hosting this widget for you to donate whatever you can to Covenant House, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping child runaways get off the streets.

What better way to turn 21?

Celebrate (Belated) Mardi Gras With Signed Twi-Goodies by Helping Kellan Lutz & St Bernard Project!

Kellan and fellow Twi-cast have been working with the St Bernards project helping to build homes down in New Orleans.

Now, in advance of his 26th birthday on March 15th, Kellan is asking people to donate $26 to the St Bernard Project for the chance to win autographed Twilight goodies with his Get On A Float campaign:

Want a chance to win free, autographed Twilight memorabilia? Want me to send you a shout-out on twitter? Will you help a great cause?
It's Mardi Gras season in New Orleans and there are still many families whose homes were flooded by Katrina 5 1/2 years ago and have not been able to rebuild and move home. So I'm doing something about it. I'm the Grand Marshal of the St. Bernard Project’s Get on the Float campaign and am funding a family's home by donating personally and raising money from the cast and crew of Twilight.
Now I need my fans to join me too. Donate any amount to St. Bernard Project and you’ll be entered in the drawing. Grand Prize winners will get autographed Twilight memorabilia signed by me and other members of the Twilight cast.
But that’s not the only prize! Each day, I’ll send a shout-out to one donor on twitter. Just leave your twitter address in the comment section and I’ll make sure my followers know about your generous contribution.
It’s easy to donate and you’ll be contributing to a great cause. This Mardi Gras Season, Get on the Float for St. Bernard Project. We want to get at least two families back home and we can do that by raising $40,000.
Until I was in New Orleans and saw the devastation first hand I had no idea about the extent of the enduring needs. I met families who were still living in FEMA trailers or their gutted homes over five years after Katrina. The good news is that there's a solution: the St. Bernard Project can rebuild a family's home in 12 weeks for about $15,000-$20,000. They've done over 350 so far!
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
