In anticipation of the International Women’s Day centenary celebrations on 8 March, Sky Movies Showcase HD is set to air films by some of the movie industry’s best female directors and leading ladies. The ‘Women In Film’ season runs from Monday 7 – Sunday 13 March, and will include films such as Thelma & Louise, Erin Brockovich and Cleopatra.Head HERE to see all the actresses on the list!
Other nods to the occassion will include a women-only anchor day on Sky News, whilst an all-female episode of The Book Show will be broadcast on Sky Arts. Sky Atlantic will also premiere Christy Turlington’s documentary No Woman, No Cry on 13 March.
